"Who actually decided that cybersecurity has to be dry?"

Cyber risks are among the biggest business risks worldwide today. AI, geopolitical tensions and professional attackers make cybersecurity an ongoing issue for companies. But does this mean the topic has to be dry? We show cybersecurity differently: exciting, understandable and close to reality. As penetration testers, we simulate real attacks on companies every day and know how attackers think, act and exploit vulnerabilities.

Our presentations combine real-life cases, exciting insights, humorous anecdotes and clear explanations for every target group. From management to the IT department. Not a dry compliance presentation. Instead, cybersecurity with energy, excitement and real stories that stay in your head!

Known from:

Our speakers:

Philipp Kalweit

Cybersecurity affects every company today. Philipp Kalweit (born in 2000) brings the topic to the stage in an understandable, exciting and realistic way. Instead of dry theory, he shows real attack scenarios, live hacking and stories directly from the everyday life of a penetration tester.

At the age of 16, he was granted full legal capacity by the local court, initially worked independently in the field of IT security and, at the age of 17, founded today’s KALWEIT ITS GmbH. Today, his company supports banks, insurance companies, SMEs and critical infrastructures in uncovering security vulnerabilities from the perspective of real attackers.

His presentations combine specialist knowledge with humor, dynamism and real experiences from his day-to-day work. This is exactly what makes his appearances a special highlight at events. Instead of buzzwords and theory, participants experience real stories, surprising insights and exciting anecdotes that make cybersecurity tangible and entertaining. Understandable for management, specialist departments and IT teams alike.

Philipp Kalweit is regularly featured in media such as FOCUS, DIE ZEIT, Handelsblatt, NDR, ProSieben, Galileo and n-tv. He was also the face of campaigns for German Telekom together with Billie Eilish, Microsoft Germany or Intel Germany. In 2019, Focus described him as “Germany’s most sought-after hacker” and put him on the cover of the magazine, as did the weekly newspaper DIE ZEIT. Forbes listed him as a company in the “30 under 30” list in the same year, Galileo called him the “Germany’s most successful contract hacker”. Thanks to his extraordinary founding history, his media experience and his many years of stage experience, Philipp Kalweit is now one of the most sought-after German speakers in the field of cybersecurity. With over 10 years of stage experience and more than 150 keynotes, he inspires companies, ministries and international events, trade fairs and congresses.

Bengt Wegner

Bengt Wegner (born 2001) has been part of Pentest Delivery at KALWEIT ITS since 2024 and regularly carries out penetration tests, red teaming engagements and social engineering in customer environments.

As a speaker, he combines technical depth with clear, understandable communication. He goes into detail about attack methods, vulnerabilities and procedures of cyber criminals and at the same time creates a clean transition to management level. There he translates technical risks into concrete consequences for decisions, liability and corporate security. His presentations are structured, practical and straightforward. Complex content remains understandable without losing any of its technical depth. As a result, he reaches both technical departments and managers alike.

Live hacking is a central component of his presentations. He clearly demonstrates how attackers proceed, how quickly systems can be compromised and where typical organizational vulnerabilities lie. The focus is always on real-life scenarios from practice. Bengt speaks at events organized by renowned companies such as Canon and Mitsubishi Electric. His strength lies in the combination of technical precision, clear language and a presentation that is technically sound, direct and lively.

Ideas for your event:

Keynote

Current cyber threats explained in an understandable way. With real cases, fresh anecdotes and clear examples from practice. Focus on management and decision-makers. Complex technology is translated into clear, tangible statements. The aim is to provide a lively overview of the real threat situation, based on real case studies and the latest attack strategies. Supplemented by concrete recommendations for effective security measures and better decisions within the company. Fits perfectly into your event. An absolute classic – the best and most popular format of all.

Live hacking

Real and modern attack methods are demonstrated live to provide a direct view of the attacker side. A unique format that shows how cyber attacks really work. Ideal for technical audiences or as a highlight for your cybersecurity-themed event.

Awareness lecture

Real phishing emails are sent to the event participants in advance and physical attempts are made to gain access to the company, for example as a supposed maintenance technician or applicant. In the presentation, the results will be taken up directly and used as real case studies. The focus will be on the current threat situation, attack strategies and their impact in practice. The aim is to raise awareness among participants without finger-pointing at individuals. The aha and wow effect is high because the scenarios have actually happened. Clear learning effects that have a long-lasting impact on the company. Only possible in the context of company events or company celebrations, as phishing e-mails may only be sent to employees of the client and express consent must be given for this.

Cyber threats in 2026: Reality instead of theory

Current cyber attacks are fast, targeted and often invisible until it is too late. This keynote uses real cases and current attack strategies to show how attacks are carried out today and where companies are actually vulnerable.

When the attack has already begun: Cybersecurity in practice

This keynote will provide a direct insight into the reality of real attacks. Using concrete examples from penetration tests and current incidents, it will show how quickly systems can be compromised and what patterns attackers use.

Cybersecurity for managing directors: what really matters

How managing directors should deal with cyber risks and where companies are actually vulnerable. The 1×1 for decision-makers when cybersecurity becomes a priority in the company. Goal: Reduction of liability risks for management

Using pentests correctly: More security for less budget

How companies can structure penetration tests sensibly and avoid costs without compromising on security. Practical examples show which areas really need to be tested and how to translate results directly into improvements.

Attackers with AI and motivation

The attack landscape is changing radically thanks to AI, as attacks are becoming faster, more scalable and much more credible. Social engineering and reconnaissance are reaching a new level as AI generates content and automatically evaluates targets. The presentation shows how this is changing both attackers and defenders and why speed is becoming the decisive factor.

DORA, NIS-2 and co.

The presentation provides an introduction to the basics of DORA – or – NIS-2 and shows the resulting requirements for cybersecurity and corporate responsibility.
